Even though the Quest has been launched unchanged for the current year, its exterior look is something that has been grabbing everyone's attention. The minivan has some distinctive features, enough to turn the heads! The 2009 Nissan Quest is available in four different trims, such as 3.5, 3.5 S, 3.5 SL and 3.5 SE. The unique and stylish flairs of Quest set it apart from many minivans. Here we go with the little details of the 2009 Quest's exterior.

2009 Nissan Quest Exterior Look

The exterior of the 2009 Quest sports a contemporary design. The minivan measures 204.1 inches long and 77.6 inches wide. Quest is marked by an arching roofline; a strong shoulder; a low beltline in the front; Nissan's signature grille and angular bumper fascia. Quest's door handles are of chrome and its roof rack has been given a satin-look finish. Tuscan Sun is the new exterior color that is offered for the 2009 models. The 3.5, 3.5 S and 3.5 SL models feature 16-inch wheels and P225/65R16 tires, with 17- inch aluminum-alloy wheels, while the 3.5 SE model features P225/60R17 tires. A sensor-type Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is standard on all Quests.

2009 Nissan Quest Power

The 2009 Nissan Quest makes use of a standard 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, based on Nissan's VQ35 engine series. The engine is paired with a standard 5-speed automatic transmission. The Quest is tuned to produce 235 horsepower and 240 lb-ft torque. The powerful engine's state-of-the-art design features Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), microfinished crankshaft and camshaft, molybdenum-coated pistons and sequential multipoint electronic fuel injection. It is assembled at Nissan's Decherd, Tenn. engine assembly facility.

2009 Nissan Quest Driving Impression

The Quest has always been known for its responsive handling and smooth & comfortable ride. It utilizes Nissan's advanced FF-L (Front engine, Front-wheel drive, Large) platform, and features a 4-wheel independent suspension with a rear multi-link design and front and rear stabilizer bars. Power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering; 4-wheel vented disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS); Brake Assist (BA); Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD); Traction Control System (TCS) are standard to all new Quests. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) is however, standard on the 3.5 SE model only.
