The 2009 Nissan Quest is a carryover from the year, 2008, thus, the changes in the vehicle are very minimal. The minivan is available in four trims/models, such as 3.5, 3.5 S, 3.5 SL and 3.5 SE. The vehicle gets sedan-like power and handling from a standard 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, based on Nissan's VQ35 engine series. The engine is tuned to produce 235 horsepower and 240 lb-ft torque and it is matched with a standard 5-speed electrically controlled automatic transmission. The powerful engine features Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), microfinished crankshaft and camshaft, molybdenum-coated pistons and sequential multipoint electronic fuel injection. A Traction Control System, front and rear stabilizer bars are all standard on every 2009 Quest model.
