The 2008 Nissan Quest is largely unchanged after a total restyling done last year. For this year, the manufacturer has launched the line-up in four exciting trims, such as base 3.5, 3.5 S, 3.5 SL and top-line 3.5 SE. The Quest is the best front-wheel drive available in the market. Based on the same platform as the award-winning 2008 Altima, the four models have been designed by the manufacturer with utmost attention, so that users can experience a sports car-like ride while driving this powerful machine on the road. With its refined power train, decent performance, large interior cabin and enormous trunk, the new models are already making news in the industry.
Under the hood, there is this standard 3.5-liter, DOHC, 24-valve, V6 engine that delivers around 235-horsepower and 240 lb-ft torque. A 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive is standard with this powerful engine. One important aspect of this engine is that it gives a good fuel economy both in the city and on the highway. In all the four models, one can get a fuel economy of 18-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. As the price of fuel increases in every two months, it becomes quite important to go for a vehicle that gives excellent fuel economy. This is one such area on which the Nissan Motors has given lot of importance while redesigning its Quest nameplate.
